Going to make a play on Sacramento tonight. They are visiting Dallas and are a 9.5 point underdog. The Mavs are playing good right now, almost beating San Antonio last night in a hard fought game. I think of this game tonight as sort of a sandwich game for the Mavs, since they are playing the Lakers on Sunday and they may be looking ahead a bit to that one. They may rest some starters late in this game tonight and Sacramento has been pretty good at covering in this situation all season. Take the 9.5

Making a play on the over in this contest. The total is at 217.5 at some outlets. It has already moved up slightly at others. The Celtics visit the Suns having lost 2 in a row on this West Coast road trip. They have been to Denver and Golden State, both high scoring teams and both of those games have gone over..Now they visit Phoenix, another high scoring team, and with Shaq added this week to the lineup, they are looking to rise to the top in Western Conference. We figure this to be a wild game with alot of points scored. Take the over.

Went 1-1 last night , losing the Sacramento-Portland under bet. They scored 33 combined points in the third quarter, and then some how lit it up in the fourth quarter for 64 points taking the total over..that will happen, that is the nature of the game....We have just one selection for tonight's action so far and that is the under on the Detroit-Milwaukee game. We have been working with our numbers here at the half-way point of the season, making adjustments to our pace factor numbers. Anybody out there have their own way of making totals on the NBA? Would love to hear some input from other cappers about how they go about making a line and projecting the total on a game..
