Big two-day carryover today as the favorites have been getting beat down at Del Mar. We will release one of the four that we have going there today as our free selection..Today is the day you team up with a few friends or co-workers and put in a Pick Six ticket and go for the big payoff. On days like this, even if favorites and second and third choices win, the Pick Six will pay decent. Of course, track management would love nothing better than to see another carryover into tomorrow and even the weekend with this being the last week of racing down at the seaside oval.

NFL Preseason Sunday August 24th

Going with the over tonight in the Buffalo-Indy game. The total is at 37.5 at some places. This should be a higher scoring game with both teams opening things up on offense going into the last week of exhibition season.

Also, we have received late word on the Angels-Twins game today. We are making a play on the Angels laying $1.60, which is about as high as we go on a favorite.

NFL Preseason Free Selection

Sunday Free Selection For Del Mar

Even though we think that the ride we got from Victor Espinoza yesterday was terrible with our selection of Bad Boy, we will try again with him today in the 7th race. Going with Comedy Girl, number one. She is 5-1 on the morning line, which apparently does not mean much since yesterday's horse Bad Boy was 8-1 on the morning line and opened at 3-2. Somebody out there betting big??

We all thought that he moved way too early with Bad Boy yesterday. The horse that was leading was going way too fast early in the race and was going to come back to the field without question. Why Victor decided to take off after that horse before the half-mile pole is beyond me. Of course, he may have lost anyway, but at least give the horse a chance make his move turning for home and have something left for deep stretch.

Victor Espinoza is one of the best out there though so we'll give him the chance to make up for it today.

Going to try and tackle the 7th race today, which is one of the toughest races on the card. There is value in here and we think that it is with #6 Bad Boy. This guy ran against some nice horses last year. He took a couple of months off earlier this year, and looks to be rounding back into form for this event. Let's hope the odds stay up there around his 8-1 morning line.

We will release one free selection today going at Del Mar in the 7th race. Prince Rexy is trained by Neil Drysdale and will be making his U.S. debut here after being imported from Australia. The horse has been working well and Rafael Bejarano takes the call. This horse won his only start in Australia and was well bet. Drysdale is excellent with these types and we see a big effort coming here.
