Sluggish Start To NBA Season

To be perfectly honest, the beginning of the NBA season has not been that great over here. We have gone 11-10 so far this season, which is not even close to being up to par for us at vegasturfandsports.com. We have gone 73-48 in the NBA since 1-1-2008 though, which is just over 60 percent.

Seems to be a season of change with all of the coaches moving around the league. The Knicks are a much faster paced team this year with Mike D'antoni as their coach. But the other night, they went into San Antonio and were stymied by the Spurs defense. The Spurs surprisingly, have been pretty horrible so far this year as they seem to have slowed to a crawl and are missing Manu Ginobili's spark in the lineup as he is out with an injury.

The Suns with new head coach Terry Porter, have slowed their pace somewhat but it seems to depend on who they are playing. The Lakers look like the team to beat this year as they have been crushing teams with their defense so far this season. The champion Celtics are also starting right where they left off last year and are winning close games with their defense.

Our numbers will get better as more games are played, that we can be sure of. We will tread lightly and watch and wait to pounce on the bookie. December will be a very good month over here, so stay tuned.
