Santa Anita Track Problems

The CHRB will hold a teleconference today to discuss the possibility of moving some or all of Santa Anita's races over to Hollywood Park for the current meet. Too bad there is nothing that can be done about the surface at Santa Anita as far as standing up to a rainstorm, but I think whoever designed the composition of the synthetic surface should have known or been told that it rains alot in Southern California in January and Feburary.

Personally, I have never done well over at Hollywood but that could change. For some reason, I just do better at Santa Anita, maybe it's all in my head. The setting at Santa Anita is unmatched as far as I'm concerned and maybe that just creates a better environment for me as a bettor when I actually do get down to the track.

Here in Nevada, the best way for me to operate, is to go in, make the plays for the day, and get out. Can't stand the idea of sitting in a casino all day with all the extra noise and confusion around.

I hope they resolve the surface situation at Santa Anita for all of us that wait for this meet to roll around every year. The meet like no other on a course like no other in the world.
